online express emails registering in actions as email sent

When sending an email out in Online express even when you are about to send your message it asks what is the message for ie general communication, fundraising, newsletter etc.  After the message has been sent there is an option to view the stats and add the information to the individual R.E records.  This goes into 'Appeals' not actions, you cannot even open what email has been sent!  the only way that you are able to view the email is by going back into the online express and find the email title to what you have previously sent.  

Please can any emails being sent out via online express as a general communication or Newsletter please go into the action field as email out? and if its an appeal email or fundraising to then go into the appeals field.
