Allowing organizations to limit dollar amount accepted onlin
We recently had a donor who inadvertently charged a $20,000.00 gift in error when the donor actually intended to donate $200.00. Of course, we refunded the incorrect donation of $20,000.00 and graciously accepted the $200.00 donation, but we had to eat credit card fees of over $300.00 ABOVE the $200.00 donation from Blackbaud Merchant Services. We would like to have the ability to limit the dollar amount so we can mitigate our exposure. This proposed function would also mitigate our exposure against potential credit card fraud.
