Add options for multiple donor names on donation form
Many donors give as a couple, but there is only a "first name" and "last name" option in the donation form. Some couples work around this by putting their first names (ex: "Fred and Wilma") in the first name field and their last name in the last name field, but this doesn't work for couples with different last names. It is irritating for donors, and difficult for us on the back end to match donors to existing constituents when "Fred and Wilma" is not a first name. Moreover, if donors end up using one name because of the field provided, this will not help us learn about donors in a relationship with another donor.

I agree that this should be an optional add-on. In a previous system we used, I used a fixed fee regardless of donation amount - $2.00 or $3.00, so no calculation was needed. We found 70-75% of donors added the $2.00. It was easy, straighforward, optional, and truly did offset a large percentage of our transaction fees, leaving more money to support our programs.
