Making a gift on an event form without registering
If people cannot attend the event but would like to support it, it would be helpful if that option was on the event form instead of creating another form and link.

Not sure if this helps you - but on our event forms, under the "extras" tab we click yes to "allow registrants to make additional donations" and then under the fine tuning section you can highlight "additional donation" (under the various sponsor levels & ticket prices) text to read "Unable to attend, please accept my donation"
