Make merge fields smarter "if/then"
Specifically, if a constituent has a "nickname/preffered name", use that merge field, but if not, then use "first name". We have several people who absolutely DO NOT go by their first name, only nickname, but right now I have to do a whole separate list and email for them. Since nickname/first name are pretty interchangeable, this would be very helpful.

Even the Addressee/Salutations fields would be better in some instances then the first name field!
