We are now in the Mother's Day Appeal. I just put up five gift designations related to this appeal, BUT do not want to delete the others, just want to deactivate some, for example, the five Christmas funds need to be used again in November, but they clutter up the Gift Designation options. Essentially we have 10 funds that do not need to be showing during the Mother's Day Appeal, but they will be used at other times of the year. Going to the trouble of deleting the funds if you are going to use them again is the reason for the suggestion. The Raiser's Edge Fund name is not always the name I want for the public/donors to see, so we customize what the donor sees. (Thank you for that option!)
Same for Mother's Day appeal, there are five funds needed, but do not want them visible during certain times of the year. We also have gifts going to the same funds throughout the year, yet they are not named Christmas or Mother's Day. It would be nice to deactivate them to during the Christmas and Mother's Day Appeals.
There are some funds that we use once a year such as the Ned Tipton Recital, which we want to show for about two months.
***Another suggestion is to be able to create a space between groups of Gift Designations such as SCHOLARSHIPS and then list the individual scholarships below that section. Helps the prospective donor as they are trying to find a certain fund in a long lists.
