I'm currently trying to create an event in which I sell both admission tickets and raffle tickets. I have a participant attribute for meal selection applied. However, it asks for a meal select for every admission ticket AND every raffle ticket. For example, if I purchased an admission ticket for myself along with five raffle tickets, I will be asked for my meal selection six times.
One solution could be to choose which attributes apply to which price types. Another could be to create price types that DON'T require a number of registrants. This could be used when selling items like raffle tickets or sponsorship that don't necessarily provide entrance to an event.

This is something I realize is important for events like a walk, where we offer a free registration but with the option of a $25 donation that gives you a t-shirt. I have to create two separate forms because t-shirt sizes are available to participates who don't want a t-shirt.
I am shocked Blackbaud hasn't addressed this sooner. Why wait for people to vote on it? How can they not have a simple solution for this type of thing? Why are competitors like Donor Perfect, Classy and Network for Good so far ahead of Blackbaud on this front. The event registration system creates a terrible donor experience and I would guess plenty of customers are using third parties to create registration forms.
