Add an option to the donation form that allows a donor to pay the credit card transaction fee.

The third-party software we were using before going with Online Express had that option and it proved profitable to our organization.

Yes, please make this a reality. It���s costing us $$ not to have this option. I���m surprised that RE can���t accommodate this now. Thank you.
This is a win-win. Non-profits will be able to manage credit card fees, and Blackbaud will have more people using Online Express and not competitor's products that do have the option for donors to pay the transaction fee.
This seems like such a no brainer--why can't it happen??
I agree that this should be an optional add-on. In a previous system we used, I used a fixed fee regardless of donation amount - $2.00 or $3.00, so no calculation was needed. We found 70-75% of donors added the $2.00. It was easy, straighforward, optional, and truly did offset a large percentage of our transaction fees, leaving more money to support our programs.
I hope this becomes a priority update for OLX. In the nonprofit tight budget world this would be a huge help to nonprofits and a big perk to OLX. Large national nonprofits like the Sierra Club have this option on their online donation forms. Other Blackbaud products like everydayhero offer it too!
This is a major request from our fundraisers and it is hard to move them from wanting to use other products that allow this feature.
I think this needs to be a top-priority update. Many other transaction pages have this option and it is very beneficial for nonprofits.
I would like to see an option on the Online Express forms where donors can take on that credit card transaction fee. Donors wouldn't mind spending a few more dollars for their donation and it would save non-profits huge amounts of money in processing fees.
We are currently looking into moving our forms from Final Site to Online Express and would love to see this feature.
We had the transaction fee option with our old vendor. I hope this can be enacted soon as it reduces a lot of funding loss with online donations..
