Allow us to limit the number of payments available for an online pledge gift so as not to exceed our campaign timeline.
We offer one-time and pledge gifts. We offer a few pledge gift options and I set the minimum so that the donor cannot have any more than 8 payments. We run into problems when donors want to go "off script" and pledge an "Other" gift. If we set the minimum to low, they can have several months to pay the pledge off. If we set it too high, then most people only get the choice of 1 payment. Neither of these is ideal. We would like to set our maximum number of payments allowed for ALL gifts, including "Other" to 8 payments.
