Add Comments Field to Event Registration Forms
With events, there are always special cases that come up which don't exactly fit within the parameters of a form. I would love to have the option of a comments field on the event registration form so that registrants can share that information with us! This would be useful both for transactional things like 'please email the invoice to Susan before the 15th' and for informational things like 'My daughter is expecting a baby, if it comes early we won't be there' that are good to know.
If a Custom Field for the registration overall (rather than just for individual participants) were an option, we could use that for this purpose, so I will vote up that idea as well.

HOW has this not been implemented yet??? Some events involve food, people can't even have a simple option on the form to list allergies. Not having a comment section is definitely not donor-centered. Online Express, do better.

Almost 2 years since this suggestion was made and it still hasn't happened. Why doesn't Blackbaud implement these incredibly simple & important suggestions? This is available in Donation form so why can't it be added to the Event form? I am just baffled.
Yes, to add comment section!. It is so necessary for most organizations, as all events are different. A blank comment section covers all bases.
This would be SO VERY HELPFUL, along with a way to add attributes that only appear once per registration, rather than once per unit (for events with multiple activities, such as a Homecoming).
I vote to add a Comment Section to the Event Registration form. We offer a special price for our golfers if they pay for a foursome before a certain date. I can create the price, but there is no where for the golfers names to be listed since the quantity is only one at $750, i.e. $750 for a foursome if paid by 4/18/17.
Yes, please! A comments section for event registration would be much appreciated! There's a place for it on donation forms and it's SO helpful. I'd really like to see it on the event form as well.
