Allow logic for merge fields
When including organisations without contacts in a mailing the Primary Addressee and Salutation will be blank. I would like logic so if it is an organisation or blank these will be replaced with Supporter.

I agree. It would be great if OX could at least do what a standard RE mail job allows. Even thought OX should be allowing the importation of data soon, this would still be a HUGE help to its clients.
Great suggestion. I'm chiming in to add another need for logic in merge fields: If Secondary Salutation is the merge field, but a constituent only has a Primary Salutation, OLX should absolutely be able to default to Primary Salutation instead of displaying nothing. "Dear ," doesn't look so good!
Has there really been no response to this?
Blackbaud, can you implement smart merge fields logic like the free email tools online do?
