I just posted a similar request and it looks like no movement has been made in the last almost two years. This is ridiculous and very disappointing.
We very much need this so that we can add additional options to our event booking forms.
For example we would like to offer a picnic hamper at a cost which needs to be paid online at the time of booking. If we add this in, the form then treats the picnic hamper as a person and you have to provide personal details eg access requirements, dietary requirements for the picnic hamper!!!
For another event would also like to be able to offer additional guests to just attend the bbq at a cost of £5, if we add this to be paid online at the time of booking, it does the same and asks for personal details of the BBQ.
At present, it seems our only option is to provide an additional form for the extras and guests are not happy with this as they then have to put their all of their details in twice - it also means that we will have to pay an additional transaction fee which doesn't seem fair either.
