This is definitely a step backwards. Many platforms have this built into the donation page.
Our preference is discontinue paper cards and only offer an eCard option. Not having an eCard option is a step backward for us. We are actually contemplating using the link to CanadaHelps.org for our In Memory Gifts webpage.
