Users should be able to choose where to add OE email data to records. Most of our emails are NOT appeals. This is especially true during the current pandemic. In order to track who received which general communication emails, it is rapidly filling up Appeals in many, many records.
The category shouldn't really be called Email Marketing. It's communication.
I see this was presented THREE YEARS AGO! and no change... That's why I started a new idea.
Thank you.

Yes, I agree with you it's not email marketing but it's a part of communication. That's really great that you are starting something new, Can you please share your new ideas with us? I am a college student, I love to know about different things. and I am free now. Because I complete my assignment project with the help of https://edubirdie.org/can-you-get-caught-using-edubirdie/ So now I can spend all my time to know about email marketing more. And I hope you will reply to me soon.
Hi Maggie, I'd have thought it's worth at least adding a newer comment to the original Idea, as that one has lots of votes already, so may get picked up sooner (we can live in hope!).
As a work around I'm going to add the Appeal, then use that to Globally Add an Action, but you would lose the open/bounce detail. Alternatively I've considered exporting the Recipients, doing a VLOOKUP to add the Constituent ID, then creating an Action Import, but a very clunky workaround!!
