We have multiple mailed appeals that are segmented, and provide the donor with an option to make their gift online. However when gifts are received in OE, there's no way for us to link the appeal/package, like we do the fund or a tribute as part of the process of linking the donor to RE. It is cumbersome to have to look at each donor's record to see which appeal they received, and then to remember that appeal when posting all the OE gifts in a batch. Because we have multiple appeals that go out in the same time frame, it is not feasible to create a new giving page for each appeal and also make sure that the correct URL info goes into the appeal letter. Since it is an option to open the constituent record when linking the gift, we can check the appeal & package, and if we could then have this info added to the initial linking page, it would populate in the batch and get posted to the correct appeal on the record.
